Lindsay's love for Marilyn Monroe

Lindsay Lohan has always drawn comparisons to her idol and the late legendary actress Marilyn Monroe. The recent photo shoot in which Lindsay recreated Monroe's legendary 1962 final photo shoot for New York magazine has created quite a stir across the world.

Several times in the past Lindsay has openly admitted her love for Marilyn and even bought an apartment once owned and lived in by Marilyn Monroe. Lindsay also admitted in one recent interview she tries to emulate Monroe whenever she can. Her recent troublesome personal life has also drawn strong comparisons to the often troubled life of Marilyn during her hay days.

Well it is fair to say that since the tragic death of Marilyn Monroe no other actress other than Lindsay has come close to be compared to Marilyn.
