Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan is an old show biz pro, starting as a model at the age of three alongside her siblings. By the time she landed a role in Another World at ten years old, she had already appeared in over 60 television commercials.

At the age of 11, her role in Parent Trap prompted Lindsay to leave Another World for a career in television movies.

Her role in the movie Freaky Friday was her biggest commercial success and was followed by her role in Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen, leading to her status as the new teen movie.

Lohan has won numerous awards for her work in movies. In 2006 she won the Hollywood Film Festival award for Best Ensemble cast in “Bobby”. Lohan has also won the award for Favorite Movie Actress two years in a row through the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.

Aside from the fame that came with her movies, Lohan was voted #10 on the list of 100 Sexiest Women by readers of FHM. Maxim placed her at #3 on its 2006 Hot 100 list. Then in 2007 Lohan hit the number one spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 list.

Lindsay grew up in a tightly knit Irish-Italian family that includes her mother Dina, father Michael and three siblings, Michael, Cody and Aliana. Her father Michael was a Wall Street trader. Michael Lohan also developed and sold his family’s multimillion dollar pasta business. Lindsay’s mom, Dina Lohan, was a Wall Street analyst and Rockette before she took on the formidable task of managing Lindsay’s career. Lindsay was born in New York City and raised on Long Island, where her mother and three siblings still live today. She remains close to her maternal grandmother and siblings, helping her younger sister Aliana as she builds her career in show biz, following in Lindsay’s footsteps.

Lohan made a guest appearance in the season two finale of Ugly Betty that aired May 2008, and is expected to appear in of five episodes of the show’s next season. Lohan will also appear as a guest judge on Project Runway, sitting in with Heidi Klum and designer Michael Kors for the show’s sixth season.

Lohan also has produced four CDs from 2004 to 2008 Her newest release, Spirit in the Dark, is scheduled to be out for November 2008. Lohan is currently signed with Motown records. Her newest release, Spirit in the Dark, will include songs she has worked on with the likes of Akon, Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, Kanye West and Timbaland.

Even as busy as she is, the twenty two year old is now launching her own brand development firm under the name of Stay Gold, which focuses on offering a lower priced line of leggings, natural self tanner and an accessories line. The leggings line was named “6126" for the birth date of Lohan’s idol, Marilyn Monroe. Though not set for release yet, Lohan plans to launch her own perfume line based on an oil she has come up with herself. Lohan plans to have her products released in the spring of 2009.
